Student privacy is important to us, and we never share your information with third parties.

This Privacy Policy outlines how Power of ICU collects, uses, maintains, and discloses student information (Data). We may receive personally identifiable information in education records from a school or district only as an incident of services or training we provide. All Data accessed or used by us will at all times be treated as confidential and will not be copied, used, or disclosed for any purpose not related to providing services to your school/district. “Data” shall include, but is not limited to, the following: student data, metadata, user content, course content, materials, and any and all data and information that a school/district (or any authorized end user(s)) uploads or enters through its use of our products and services. We use Data only for the purpose of fulfilling our duties, providing services, and improving services. All Data continue to be the property of and under the control of the local educational agency.

COPPA and FERPA
We are committed to working with our users to comply with laws, rules, and regulations governing the use and protection of student information, including the Children Online Privacy Protection (COPPA) and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and their implementing regulations, and applicable state laws. Power of ICU is committed to protecting the security, confidentiality, and integrity of student information we receive, as well as to protecting against unauthorized access or anticipated threats.

Marketing and Advertising Prohibited
Power of ICU will not use any Data to advertise or market to students, parents, or users.

Security Controls
We take all reasonable measures to securely store and process data. This includes implementing appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to secure data from unauthorized access, disclosure, and use.

Notification of Data Breach
In the event of a breach or unauthorized disclosure concerning any Data that would be subject to disclosure under applicable federal or state law, Power of ICU will immediately notify users and take immediate steps to limit and mitigate the damage of such breach to the greatest extent possible.

Termination
Following expiration or termination of an agreement under which a school or district accessed Power of ICU products or services, and upon receipt of written notification of termination, Power of ICU will destroy or, if agreed, return to the school or district, the Data in its possession.

General Agreement
Unless you have entered into a separate school or district agreement with Power of ICU, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy by using this site and our services.
